'Cause I’ll be pretty ticked if that’s the case and I didn’t post the “I’ll take the ‘J’ if we can go back for seconds” post I considered posting earlier.
I am finding that I don’t have enough time to keep up with the game the way I would like to but I don’t want to drop out so (if **chrisk ** will allow it), I propose a partnership.
NAF partnership offer: The first player who accepts will pool all their property (rules and letter cards) with mine for a 51% 49% split of the end points. (I will take the 49%) From that point forward we would both have the power to accept and create any trades with the community property, with my new partner having final voting power.
I am happy to take second place. This is capitalism after all, you don’t need to win, you just have to be successful.

Interesting idea NAF. As stated, it comes perilously close to the partnership option that I decided against at the start of the game. So, here’s a revised offer guideline.
You, NAF1138, sign over all of your property, (rule slips you hold and letter cards,) to the party of the second part, (hereafter named the Senior Partner,) in exchange for a 49% share in the senior partners’ final submission portfolio.
Senior partner ‘agrees in principle’ to listen to your suggestions regarding trades and take your opinion under advisement. (The previous sentence is not enforceable.) But you will have no true trading authority on his portfolio.
(in addition to private strategy, I’ve decided, two players both having trading authority over the same assets is something that I don’t want to introduce for this game.)

Okay, here’s my thinking. I didn’t want to sell letters to only a few people because I didn’t want to unbalance the game and negate the fun for everyone.
On the other hand, I have a strong interest in making sure nesta and Hal have the assets they need so they can actually pay up!
I feel that I have given all players sufficient time to buy a letter if interested. Since there doesn’t seem to be interest beyond nesta and Hal, I will submit to market forces and sell to them.
Hal has indicated he would like the J.
nesta indicated interest in both the J and the D.
sachertorte’s not really an offer offer but it’s in blue so it must really be an offer: I will sell the letter ‘J’ to Hal for 5 points and sell the letter ‘D’ to nesta for 5 points and Hal will compensate nesta for jumping the queue by showing her a rule that she has not seen (nor holds). Offer valid on the condition that both Hal and nesta accept the offer.
