As I understand the deal proppsed, the inventories will be consolidated, yes, and I will PM both team members with the full list of all rules held or seen by either signatory.

I strongly suggest that anyone trading with Arizona Teach and phidao be very careful. They have almost all of the rules between them and have a monopoly on rules 20 and 22 and three of 5 potions as well a large amount of coin. I will be traveling most of tomorrow and Friday. I hope the game will not be won by AT and phidao when I come back. :dubious:

phi and I will not be permitted to talk privately - any strategizing we do will have to be done publically.
The name of the team, if there is no objection, is phi/Teach
Trades can be proposed by either member of the team, but can only be accepted if both members agree to them (unless one or the other waives that right)
With that in mind:
Antinor - This is a good news/bad news situation for you. We no longer need your potion. However, we are willing to take it off of your hands…for a price. Any trade made for that potion must contain a look at either rule #5 or rule #11. We will accept NO copper or gold in trade (coins or items). You must also pledge **not ** to form an alliance with another player. As a matter of good faith, we will include a look at rule #20 - which will explain what we’ve been shooting for and give you some other important information. This is not an offer in and of itself - you need to make the first offer.
(aside to phi - I already cleared with chrisk any concerns that might arise regarding Antinor’s potion in addition to the ones we already have - we’re good)
Santo Rugger - you are interested in Rule#21, whether you realize it or not. We are interested in Rules #2, 6, 12, and 13. We will show you our Rule #21 for two of your rules. We are also very, very interested in your diamond gem.
oredigger - we are certainly open to trading off our extra grey wand. However, we will need to see rule #15 first. I offer a simple trade of rule #20 for rule #15.
meeko - we need to lighten our load. Would you consider trading 2 of your platinum pieces for 4 of our gold?
phi - once you see the rules, if you still have any questions about what our long term plans are, ask away (subtly, of course). If you feel any of these trades are not inour interest, let me know.

Actually, that’s very, very interesting, as I know for a fact you haven’t seen the particular rule that I’m looking at. Methinks there is more to this than either of us know.

And now AT is playing numbers games. Yes they have only 46 coins to my 39. But what is the value of each coin? And what is the value of their potions? and their wands? and their jewels? and their jewelry? What is the sum?
I don’t want to bicker about this, because this is a game, but if you’ll look back, you’ll see I offered to trade rule #15 for rule #20, so that pretty much negates both your arguments there…as for playing a numbers game, you’re forgetting that everything we have will be divided in half. And there are a LOT of rules that we don’t have, so who knows what the value is? As of right now, you’re slaughtering us, despite your claims we have “almost every rule” (which is patently not true!) You’re sitting pretty with a LOT more coins than anyone else…so…you wanna trade?

I’m still waiting on phi2dao to post an approval of the partnership charter specifications that ArizonaTeach laid down in post 344. Once that is done, team phi/Teach can be officially formed.
sinjin, I don’t see anything in post 344 that is infringing on my perogatives or claiming powers that players can’t have, (‘laying down the rules for the rest of the game.’) She (?) was clarifying a few things regarding the details of the partnership agreement and the rules that the members will still be expected to operate under, and sending out a whole bunch of statements of intent regarding the new corporation’s trading policy.
Of course, lobbying other players to boycott a powerful rival is always a valid strategy, as long as it doesn’t involve behaviour that’s inappropriate on the board or here in the games forum.
