HAHAHAHAHA.... You people are NOT going to believe what Mrs. Chef gave me!

VD?

A blender!

Not in the way you mean, but in a non-literal way it could be considered a blender.

Guitar
Piano
Computer monitor
A karaoke machine

Geez, I must think you’re musical or something.

A moped

We have a winner!

Yes, that’s right, my adoring wife has given me the gift of musical show-offery. She also bought a collection of karaoke CDs.

So all you DFW Dopers, start brushing up, because you’re ALL singing at the next dopefest or I’m not feeding you.

A vibrating EZ-chair

Another short reply to boost my post count

So what do I win?

I think I’d like to hear you sing Ice Ice Baby.

[sub]Now to get myself down to DFW to play with the new toy…[/sub]

Damn! my next answer was going to be a karaoke
machine. Stupid flood control stopping me from making
a hilarious string of wild guesses, which would have
quite coincidentally put me well on the way to 100
posts.

Will we get mp3’s posted soon?

Oooh, fun! Happy Anniversary, too.

Er, but you probably won’t wanna invite me anywhere there’s a karaoke machine. I have a tendency to hog the mike.

That’s okay, hon… the karaoke machine came with TWO microphones.

Oh, cool. Then I can do both parts of “Summer Love” from Grease.

Oh man, so I have another to add to the ever-growing list of reasons to be pissed that I don’t live closer to Dallas. You lucky daaaaaaaawg.

Now you have to figure out how to hook that thing into your computer so you can make me another CD…a Cheffie Special.

[sub]I oughtta shaddup…he’ll do it…(yay!!)[/sub]

(And happy anniversary, dollin’. Give Andi a non-threatening totally-no-lesbo-overtones squish and kiss from me. ;))

Happy Anniversary Cheffie and Mrs. Chef! When are y’all having us over some karaoke? You don’t even have to feed us (although we do appreciate it when you cook).

Damn. I thought I had it.

I was just about to guess a Tug-a-hoy!

::Reviews thread::

Happy Anniversary, may you two enjoy many happy nights
of sounding as good- as Shatner sounds bad.

I thank my lucky stars I will never have to do this . . .

Besides the rice, just one more reason to stop by Wendy’s on the way over to your place.

Happy Anniversary, Troy & Andi!!

Jim

Hamadryad: Would a cassette suffice? This karaoke machine can tape a performance. And I have a karaoke CD that has a rendition of “Hallelujah, It’s Raining Men.”

Grace: I was thinking of inviting everyone over for a Halloween party on Sunday, October 28th… that would give everyone time to practice cough coughmrs.chefcough cough I’ll start a thread about it.

iampunha: Don’t be so cocky… this karaoke machine is portable, you know.

JimB: tell you what: if you agree to do a duet with Grace, I promise to hide one of the mikes so the two of you will have to share, which means arms around each other and cheek-to-cheek.

Thanks to everyone for the anniversary wishes.
