Someone back on the other board mentioned the possibility. THAT would be very cool. Especially in Pittsburgh, as I plan on dressing up as Audrey Hepburn as she was in Breakfast at Tiffanys.

IIRC (and I think I do), Jonathan Chance is having a get-together, Halloween-style, slightly before Halloween. Costumes are required.

JC confirmed on the temp board that that was indeed the plan. He lives in VA, not too far from where VA, WV, and MD all come together near Harper’s Ferry. A number of PA Dopers joined the Halloween festivities at the Chance manor last year.

From my understanding, all of January, possibly all of February, and a significant portion of December were lost. That’s why I’m not knocking on 7K’s door and Guin is, once again.
I’ll likely be having another OhDope/HallowdopeAween this year and it’ll liekly be in Ohio again.

Yeah, I started the thread about the Pittsburgh 'fest on Halloween. My original thought was to try to have one kickass 'fest that would be big enough for any NY, Chicago, or Cali Dopers that wanted to attend. And we would be starting it early enough on the boards to give every one time to make arrangements. I wouldn’t mind doing the OhDope again. This time, however, I’m not running back and forth from Columbus to Pittsburgh. But I know some people may have hard times making it anyplace else, so I wanted to find a sort of central location for everyone. I know Medea’s Child, Gorgon Heap, and Guin all said they were in for a Pittfest. And I have a lot of fond memories of Pittsburgh, and wouldn’t mind going back.
