Halycon & on & on

Does anyone know where I can find a short version of Orbital’s Halycon & On & On? I downloaded a version from AudioGalaxy but it is 9 minutes and 28 seconds long, and frankly, I don’t want ten minutes of the same beats/tones/whatever taking up my CD space. I love the song though. Can anyone help?
I think it is found somewhere in Gladiator, but I am not sure. If it is, can those of you hwo know tell me where? Maybe I can get it from there.

I don’t know of any shorter versions of that track. I do know that it appears on the soundtrack to the film Hackers, so I’d say that is a good bet.

Great track, though.

My initial reaction is to say “buy it,” but to be less stick-in-the-mud-y about it (while not detracting from the fact that purchasing it is the right way to go) I’d say check for a CD single of it on gemm.com or another resale site. But I can’t say that I’m sure a short version exists. The only Orbital track I can think of off-hand that has a short version (that isn’t already short, their later albums have had a lot of short tracks… not that they’re better than the older, longer tracks, mind you) is Satan.

But I must say, Halcyon+On+On is a damn fine piece of music.

See also the live version where orbital mixed in bon jovi + Belinda Carlisle vocals…even better than the original!

The version on the Hackers soundtrack is the long version. I won’t ask how anybody could be searching for anything except and even longer version, simply suggest you track down the 1993 US single release of Halcyon on ffrr. It has an edited version that’s around four minutes long in addition to the normal one.
