Hamburgers Or Cheeseburger?

Which do you prefer?

You kidding? Cheeseburgers. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say they prefer their hamburgers without cheese.

Oh, now you’ve gone and done it. You’ll have a million people quoting your post in here saying things like “Well, here’s one”, “Here’s another”, etc. Heh.

I won’t be one of them, though…I agree with you. My burger must have some form of cheese on it for me to enjoy the scarfing and noshing of it.

I can enjoy a hamburger without cheese. And when I say hamburger I mean, well, normal hamburgers. Burgers like what you find at Arby’s taste good with or without cheese- I have no preference there.

I voted “Other.” I prefer the cheese but usually don’t get it because it’s contraindicated for my arteries.

There’s various other things I might put on a burger, but I leave the french fries on the side. (I was surprised last week to someone put the fries inside the burger. Is that an Australian thing?)

I don’t know about fries but I put chips on my burgers and sandwiches when they’re available. Some of my friends do, too.

You’ve never met an observant Jew? :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually, no.

Now you have! I wouldn’t have a cheeseburger if I ate meat.

Since I don’t, I wouldn’t have either, but I do enjoy cheese on a veggie burger.

You mean…you can get a burger *without *cheese?? Weird.

No cheese. It’s the Jewish thing.

(I don’t keep strict kashrut, but I draw the line at meat and cheese).

Nope, I’m an American and I’ve been doing that all my life. Learned it from my father. I do it with certain sandwiches too, on occasion. It’s not something I do every time, just once in a while.
Even though I’m lactose intolerant I still prefer cheeseburgers. It just tastes better.

Eye can haz hamburgerz or one cheezburger? Eye chooz hamburgerz.

Cheeseburgers! I hate it when I sometimes forget to specify “with cheese” on either a Whopper or a Big and Tasty, neither of which come with cheese. Can you imagine?!?!

Cheeseburger. Preferably in Paradise.

I prefer a good hamburger to a bad cheeseburger, but it’s a close thing.

Cheeseburger . . . with either swiss or extra-sharp cheddar.

If someone defiles my burger with cheese I’ll still eat it, but not happily.

Here in the UK we call it a chip buttie.

ETA: I’m assuming you mean putting the fries inside the bun. Putting them inside the burger - now, that would be interesting.

We mean taking the bun off the burger, setting the fries on top of the patty and setting the bun back on top of all of it.
