With <1% of Georgia reporting, Obama’s only ahead by 54% to 39%, real votes.
I think it’s safe to say that any actual pre-hatching counts of chickens will likely be off. That’s the bloody pain of all this “exit poll” nonsense. Makes for absolutely lovely, wildly inaccurate filler for the 24 hour news set.
That’s still a 15 point lead. I’ll take it!
I won’t. Crap exit poll reporting like that gave Hillary her “come from behind” victory in New Hampshire. With the total lead shrinking seemingly by the minute, I’ll keep my dancing shoes off until the last vote is counted.
I understand. But note that I was responding to what’s being reported as actual votes, not exit poll numbers.
Yup, but it’s already down to 52%/42% with <2% reporting. Again, I’d love to get happy about the results, but I’m keeping my enthusiasm in check until it’s all counted.
A 21 point lead with about 40% reporting seems pretty solid.
