My wife and I talk about this a lot. She thinks Sean Connery is just IT. I say it’s not necessarily his looks (even when he was young). It’s the accent and the way he carries himself. That kind of confidence is almost infectious.

I know this thread has been hi-jacked by a few girls already and I’m really sorry but I have to chime in and say that I agree with the lady who mentioned Paul Newman in his prime. He was perfect looking.
Do none of you guys see this? Is this just a girl thing or can a hetero guy appreciate why so many women find this man so beautiful?
I am a hetero guy and I would kill to look like Paul Newman in Cool Hand Luke, he really is the standard bearer for good looking men.
I, too, am more of a fan of the previous generation of actors, like Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Sean Connery, all of whom I think look pretty handsome in their movies from way back then.
It’s harder for me to think of a current actor who looks handsome, except maybe Daniel Day Lewis, who looks good (except in ‘A Room with a View’) and is also a fantastic actor.
Let’s see, I also have seen a lot of Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson movies, so there must be something I like about them, too.
