Happen To Have Seen These Patches Around?

So, my wife buys me a new jacket for Christmas – one celebrating the two Super Bowl championships the New York Giants had won (at the time). Naturally, I make a joke about how I was going to have to go and find new patches after the Giants won the Super Bowl this year, ha ha ha.

Jokes on me…I need to find new patches.

They’re not shown in the above picture, but the sleeves have the logo patches for the respective Super Bowls. That’s not the problem here – I was able to find a Super Bowl XLII patch easily enough on eBay. What I can’t seem to track down are the number patches for the year. Here’s a close-up of what they look like. Naturally, I’m looking for the apostrophe, an “0” and a “7”. Happen to have come across them lately? Feel like going on a web hunt? Either way, any help here would be muchly appreciated.

I’d take a look at any place that does letter jackets for high schools.

They should be helpful.

How about these? If those aren’t quite right, do a Google search on Letterman’s Jackets, or Varsity Jackets.

Yeah definitely go to your local “awards” store. There’s got to be one in or near any town that has a high school. If you can’t find it in the phone book, call up the local HS secretary and ask who they use.

Keep the jacket like it is. It’s retro.
