Yep, Jerome Lester Horwitz aka Curly Howard was born 100 years ago today.
Nyuk nyuk nyuk!
I saw that! Wise guy, eh? Yes, I am female and yes, I love the Stooges. “Calling Dr. Howard … Dr. Fine … Dr. Howard!” (that is from Men in Black isn’t it?). The Shemp ones were okay, but I preferred to watch Curly, Larry and Moe.
Happy 100 to you, Jerome “Curly” Howard!
Oh Moe, I tried to think and nothing happened!
Mr. Jerome “Curly” Howard [Horowitz],
From a man who has the body of Curly, the hair of Larry, and the disposition of Moe – HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ya lamebrain!!!
I’m a victim of soicumstance!!
I’ll add that it will be a colder and less happy world if ever Curly’s numerous catchphrases finally disappear from common usage. I would not want to live in such a place.
“Look Moe, I’m a >insert occupation here<!”
I have gotten the absolute strangest looks when I start barking and snapping at an obstreperous piece of equipment that I’m repairing. Of this I am exceedingly proud.
PS: tarragon918, you do realize that an appreciation of The Three Stooges makes you prime marriage material for a substantial portion of American men? (Just asking.)

Larry: “Does the deer have a little doe?”
Curly: “Yeah, two bucks!!” Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!
Moe: (Slaps Curly)
