Morning, mumpers! It’s currently 7c/44f with a predicted high of 10c/51f, and mostly cloudy. Weather app says “Sure, it could be fucking warmer outside. But you could also be fucking covered in ants. Count your fucking blessings.” OK, I’ll do that. It’s quite pleasant outside, I have hauled the biiiiiig bin out to the kerb for today’s collection. Sorry, folks, no exciting bin reports later, it’s domestic rubbish so they don’t bother to look at that.
But it did, strangely, remind me of something from last week that I never replied to, but definitely meant to…
The schoolies range from 7-18yrs on the train, plus we’ll get our fair share of uni students in the 18 and over range. The under-18 schoolies are the feral bunch, they usually travel on term-time season tickets which are discounted to 25% off the usual child season ticket price if they’re under 15yrs, and 50% off the usual adult fare for kids aged 16 and over. They’re also valid for evenings, weekends and travel when schools/universities are closed.
Nothing exciting in my day to look forward to. I’m doing a favour for a colleague in another dept, she needs some data checked in a hurry so I’m working through that today. Then we’re on strike for the next three days
