Happy Easter!

Well, it’s time for me to wish you all a fond adieu until Monday, April the 25th. So, whether you consider it a sacred Christian observance, a time to color some eggs, or simply a well deserved 3-day weekend, Happy Easter!

Who gets a three day weekend?

You get Saturday, Sunday, and Easter off.

My wife gets Good Friday off, and next week is school vacation so it’s an extra long April break.

Easter falls on a Sunday this year.

(I say this every year in multiple situations and there are always some people who will explain that it always falls on a Sunday, I’ll then argue about how that’s impossible)

Bart Simpson chalk board quote:

“Jesus is not mad his birthday is on Christmas.”

I’ll be home for Easter. Whoo hoo!

I generally dyed the eggs with the kids.
Mid-daughter will do it this year. I’ll be there bossing around. And begging for a Cadbury egg. I might get to smell it.:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Happy Easter. Wishing everyone a happy time with your families.

Yay!!

(Discourse insisted upon the extra exclamation point.)

For years I would call my brother on Easter morning way too early, like 5:30 or 6:00. When he’d answer, I’d say, “he has risen” and he’d answer, “indeed”, then I’d hang up. His wife put an end to that (I always have said he could have done better).

Oh yay! Don’t overdo it. Just sit and be queen bee. Even if Lil Wrekker thinks she wears that crown.

You can count on me
There’ll be sweets and chocolate treats
And colored eggs, you’ll see
Eastertime will find me
Sitting on my porch
Make this family leave me be
Before I light a torch

I love being Royal👸
And don’t you forget it!!:hugs:

this Easter egg is fishy

Remined every time I sit down. Now, excuse me. I’ve got a flag to go fly…

Thank you! And same to you and your family.

Happy Easter from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The women, however, were already there. Smart, ladies, smart.

Happy Easter. Hope everyone had a chance to relax and spend with family.

Happy Belated Easter!

We had a great day. We celebrated Easter on Saturday, so we could see the grandkids. It was the first Easter we all celebrated together in one place in 2 years. We had 15 guests (all family and SOs).
