General Beau Lee in Georgia did not see his shadow, so the Southeast is in for an early spring.

I thought that was yesterday…
I couldn’t see shadows here in Pittsburgh this morning, so I was hoping he wouldn’t see it.
When was the last time the big rat didn’t see his shadow? When was the last time we saw spring by February 16th?
I’m thinking… Never?
It’s always on February 2nd. Which also happens to be a friend of mine’s birthday… Happy Birthday Debbie!!

Groundhog day always makes me wax nostalgic for one place I used to work. Every Feb. 2nd they would have a “ground hog” breakfast for the employees with sausage (of course) eggs, hotcakes and all the fixin’s.
If you had all those TV lights on you, you’d see your shadow, too.
