From the Leprechaun Brothers!
Erin go Braugh!
And here is where you can find everything you ever wanted to know about St Patrick’s Day
Top of the mornin’ to ye!
Pardon me black eye on this day of all days, but ‘twas comin’ home from the pub with Pat last night and I guess me mum’s prayers were finally answered – fer surely the road rose to meet me.
Me head was that thing that went bump in the night.
zzzzzzzzzzz…beer…zzzzzzz…green…zzzzzzzz
Off to the Irish pub to watch the match, then to a plastic paddy friend’s house to play guitar and drink Guinness. Hurrah!
Beannachtai na Féile Pádraig!
And the best of the day to yerself!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day Everyone!
Got home from my shopping to find that the mail had arrived, including a bunch of DVDs I had ordered. Among them was Finian’s Rainbow, which I am currently watching. Later I’ll be getting out my copy of The Quiet Man. The corned beef will be simmering (not boiling) on the stove shortly.
I don’t normally drink, but I’ll probably crack open the bottle of Irish Mist tonight and raise a glass to the memory of my late wife, whose father was born in Ireland.
And there is much rejoicing! Huzzah!
Let’s all get drunk and have a Virtual Dope-Fest. Woohoo, who’s with me?!
The kids (5 & 7) and I cranked up the Pogues this morning, and I have corned beef simmering on the stove.
You won’t catch me out on the road much after 5:00 pm or so, though- frigging amatuer night out there. Hey newbies- if you aren’t used to drinking all day, then you shouldn’t. Just a thought.
Leave it to the professionals… heh heh heh.
Deb, who hasn’t blacked out on St. Patricks Day in 16 years!
Heh. And the Irish have knocked Pakistan out of the cricket World Cup! Who knows what odds you could’ve got on that pre-tournament?
Amazing. And the rugby went well despite the final try let in at the last minute, resulting in loss of the championship.
Ooh my head.
I used to know an Irishman who would go ballistic whenever I told him “Top o’ the mornin’ to ya,” because – he said – no one really says that in Ireland. I would say it to him often, hehehe.
It’s true. And in 10 years of living there, I only once heard someone say “begorrah”.
Also, they don’t have Lucky Charms.
But are the “marnins” there still “foine?”
Good morning everyone.
Yeeeesh, I turned 21 at midnight on the 17th of March…oh man… I’m so friggin tired still.
Not only that, but I was at Daytona Beach on spring break with a ton of friends…
Spring Break + St. Patricks Day + 21st Birthday = well… I think I sobered up a little while ago
Our son was 34 min. short of being a St. Paddy’s baby! Happy Birthday to him today!
And another…Happy St Joseph’s Day!
