Note: this is NOT a summary of the book: it’s just the standard jacket blurb. Since this is the first thing I’d read anyway, I figured that it wouldn’t be real a spoil.
a surprising new Gryffindor keeper… madness and lies… a government and a school teetering on the edge… the terror of Ordinary Wizarding Level Exams… unbearable sacrifice… haunting nightmares… Dumbledore reveals everything… and a single door in a silent corridor…
Interesting. I am guessing that “unbearable sacrifice” is going to be the major character who dies in which case it’s presumably not Dumbledore. Though I suppose it’s possible that Dumbledore “reveals everything” through some kind of recording after he dies.
Yay Ron!! But I wonder why that tidbit was listed under “Harry’s other problems.” Another clash of jealousy between the daring duo?
It’ll be interesting to see what havoc a disgruntled house elf can wreak. Anybody else want to bet it’s Winky?
You remember that feeling you had as a little kid in the days leading up before Christmas? How it seemed like you just couldn’t stand the wait?
That’s how I feel now. June better get here quick. (Although I can find solace this weekend watching my shiny new copy of the Chamber of Secrets. Of course, the movies are nowhere near as good as the books.)
Well, being keeper seems like a pretty dangerous position, considering that you’re both distracted, and a big target. And given that horomones are supposed to play an even bigger role in this one, I can imagine a showboating Ron getting into a fair amount of trouble, and even causing no end of irritation.
