A nice man. I remember him as the parent of a high school friend more than as a weatherman/TV personality. Mr. Volkman, I hope the weather you’re reporting on now is always fair with clear skies.
I remember seeing him in say 1986. He came to the school I was at to give a talk. He seemed ancient then. Very nice guy and explained a lot about the weather and the forecasters job.
He didn’t seem any too young when he came to our grade school, and I graduated in 74! Yes, we gave him a boutonniere and he mentioned Reinberg on that evening’s news.
