Harvest Festival in the MMP

I’m currently in the office, but will be going home in less than two hours: I have an “emergency” voice lesson at 3pm (prep for Sunday’s chorale audition). It’ll be virtual, but of course I can’t do it from here. My next meeting is at 1pm, and I’ll head south as soon as it’s over. I’m hoping the drive home will only take ~40 min, so I have time to log back in and set my Teams status to “away” before my lesson starts.

No harvest festivals for me. I’ve always been a suburban person, definitely tending more urban than rural (except the two years my family lived in England, when we were surrounded by working farms…helping my best friend feed a trailer full of abandoned lambs was fun until one of them peed on my foot :joy:).

Nothing exciting to report from yesterday. I did wind up ordering a pizza for lunch, and had leftovers for dinner; I’ll have the last two slices for dinner again tonight. I couldn’t watch the Yankees game on either network TV or via any of the streaming services I already have, which is just as well because we got our butts whupped by the Blue Jays again. If we don’t win tomorrow night’s game – which I also won’t be able to watch – our postseason will be over.

Wishing you good car karma tomorrow! :automobile: :crossed_fingers:

S4 is out, but I haven’t gotten around to watching it yet. S1 and S2 were genius, but S3 was disappointing…and I’ve heard mixed reviews about S4. I’ll check it out eventually.

That’s one of my favorite tricks for staying organized: if I had to look something, I don’t put it back where I found it – it goes in the first place I looked for it.
