This show was on a UK cable channel all too briefly. Does anyone know if there are any videos or DVDs available?
Any run of Harvey Birdman is, by definition, all too brief. Unfortunetly, they haven’t been collected on DVD yet. There’s only about ten fifteen-minute episodes, so it’d be tough to justify a DVD release at this point. They’re still sporadically making new ones, though, so sooner or later I’m sure a collection will show up. In the States, Harvey was made for the Adult Swim programming block on the otherwise kid-oriented Cartoon Network. Check the Cartoon Network on-line store for updates. When they finally make a DVD, it’ll probably show up there first. In the meantime, buy a t-shirt to show that there’s consumer interest in the show.
Of course, if you’re a baby-raping Nazi scumbag, I know for a fact that all the episodes are available at various illegal file-sharing sites. But anyone who uses one of those is filth who only deserves to be taken out in the street and shot, so I heartily recommend you avoid looking there.
Not yet that I know of. I’ve had a very hard time catching eps, but I love it.
Please state your First Name, Last Name, and Occupation for the record, please!
Uh… Frogman, Frogman, and uh… Frogman.
Baby raping Nazi scumbag checking in here: I havent’ been able to find a single one on any of these sites, which is funny given how many of the other Adult Swim shows there are out there.
The one where he kills Wonderdog, is defended by Birdman, and ends up spending 5 years in prison is a classic fifteen minute bit of television.
Email me.
Seeing as how Sealab 2021 tragically lost the voice actor for its best character, Capt. Murphy, do you think it’s possible the Adult Swim guys will pull it and then start this series up again?
Don’t you mean ‘defended by Blue Condor’? (‘My friends call me call me…Azul!’ ‘Hah! Sissy European lisp thing!’)
For my money, though, the single best bit is from the Apache Chief episode.
Zahn: ‘[Wonder Woman] said she needed some “me-time” so she turned off her communicator and took a bath.’
Birdman: ‘How do you know she was taking a bath?’
Zahn: ‘I…I was the bathwater.’
::Flashback::
::Zahn’s face is seen in the bathwater. Wonder Woman’s leg is visible just to the side of the screen (she bathes with her boots on, apparently…)::
Zahn: ‘Oh, yeah…shape of a washcloth…’
Although…it occured to me that Janna would have to be involved for Zahn’s perversion to work (and it shames me to admit I KNOW that.), which put a whole further bit of humour to it…
Dog Wonder. Dynomutt the Dog Wonder.
Not Wonderdog.
Cheers all. I’ll keep a lookout.
Heh…After correcting the Blue Condor/Birdman mixup, I’m embarrassed I missed that one, too…
Whatever happened to the little clips they used to have between shows of Aquaman shaking his booty at various locations (the Taj Mahal, etc.)?
