Jesus, what a tool this guy is. If you want to see just how much of a tool, read this article in the Moonie Times.
Sam is “scared for America” if Obama wins. Of course, his fear is based on a totally false representation of Obama’s tax policies (not that Sam pays his taxes anyway), but who cares?
What has this idiot done to merit any attention in his life, other than rush over to ask a grandstanding, belligerant and ill-informed question of a political candidate (falsifying his own motives and backgound in the process)?
I thought Bush was dumb and unqualified. Then I saw Palin, and I thought, no SHE’S dumb and unqualified. Now we’ve got the Republicans literally touting some random dumbass off the street as a contender for congress. Mike Judge is a fucking prophet, man.
So they don’t like him because he’s an “elitist” and they don’t like him because he’s “very average”. Doesn’t leave much. It sounds to me like he was disappointed that Obama didn’t talk down to him with intellectual gibberish so he could then complain to Fox how he was mistreated. The guy gives douchebags a bad name.
Mr. The Plumber is trying hard to cash in on his 15 minutes, that’s for sure. I wonder if he could possibly win? It’s hard to beat a House incumbent, but he’d probably get a lot of out-of-state donations based on name recognition. Having no reason to seek office except his chance meeting with Obama, it’s hard to imagine him running a serious campaign, but joke candidates do win sometimes.
In 2010, Joe the Plumber will be…Joe the Plumber. His 15 minutes will be up. He won’t win a free dessert at Golden Corral in 2010. He had better cash in now…
Come on, people! You are talking about “Monica Lewinski” and “Head” in the same thread. Will somebody please just make the obvious joke se we can all move along?
Yes, she did. And I find her to be more skilled with um, pipe and stopcocks than Joe the Plumber.
RE the name recognition: he won’t have any, unless he petitions the court to change his name to Joe the Plumber. I can’t remember his last name already (some Teutonic sounding something–don’t care enough to look it up).
If I recall correctly, Lewinsky was propelled into the spotlight, in part by her “friend” Linda Tripp. By the time she started capitalizing on her notoriety it was obvious the media wasn’t going to be leaving her alone any time soon. Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, on the other hand, has eagerly courted attention.
I’d like to nominate Kato Kaelin, or Judge Lance Ito, for nomination. Though, I’ll grant that Judge Ito did have a number of accomplishments to his credit - just not his service during the first OJ trial.
After taking a look at Ito’s Wikipedia page, I suddenly see why he had such a horror w/the OJ trial of being reversed: He’d been rapped for the flaw that let Keating go free. A lot more becomes comprehensible, now.
