About a week ago, I had a nightmare about the SDMB. I kept posting gibberish and got banned. I got quite frightened by it surprisingly. Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen to them?

I haven’t. Doesn’t sound like anything to get worried about, though. The nightmare’s theme, it would seem, is about being tossed out of a group you endear yourself to and consider yourself a part of. That’s a scary thing for everyone.
I meant to add that your mind is just grabbing on to the SDMB as a random example of a group you feel connected to, to make the dream meaningful to you.
No, but I dreamed one night that I lost an e-fed world championship to a notoriously bad writer. It was right after I joined and had been very successful, so I was sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I had one a couple days ago that involved two Dopers but not the board itself. I haven’t slept since.
Not nightmares, but I have noticed that when I spend a lot of time here, I start to dream in text.
I hate that.
I take it that the OP hasn’t received the numerous warnings that the mods have sent out to him or her. That is kind of surprising considering all the of the e-mails that have been flying around among other members. On the bright side, it seems that the OP has the strange ability to sense these things through dreaming and may have ESP.
