I’ve been a Netflix member since May of '04, and in that time I have rented 58 movies. I recently had 3 discs fail to make their way back to Netflix (all 3 were dropped in the mail slot in my office at the same time) which Netflix seems to have accepted at face value as the cost of doing business. Does anyone know how many movies you can lose before your account is suspended?
One Doper that I know told me his account got suspended for losing too many movies. I can’t remember if the mailman was taking them or if he ever figured it out. In fact, I can’t rememeber the resolution at all but I do know his account is active again. I’ll ask him to post here.
I was wondering the same thing recently, as we have recieved four broken discs over the last month or so. I assume DVDs are so cheap and their service so efficient that the cost of investigation or cancellation would be more expensive than the loss unless you lost quite a few(I’m just going to throw 30 out there for the heack of it).
