supposedly it was only aired once and deemed too scary. But it seems kind of odd to me. I never heard of this until yesterday and there was a thread on Reddit about it and someone claims to have a tape of it (of course it hasn’t been uploaded yet). Anyway this whole movie seemed like a myth to me when I first heard about it yesterday. I never heard of it and I watched Nickelodeon all the time back then. The whole idea seems too weird to have been a Nick movie. But there is a Wikipedia article and some clips on youtube (this one even has Melissa Joan Hart introducing it, but even that video doesn’t seem right. It looks like recorded by pointing a camera at the TV, and there is a screamer at the end with a loud dog barking). There are lots of stories on the internet about movies/episodes of TV like this, but if this is a prank, it is the most elaborate one I have ever seen.
I’ve never heard of it but it has an IMDB entry with posts going back to 2007, I don’t see why somebody would spend 4 years faking the existence of a Nickelodeon movie.
Huh. I’d never heard of it, but it was mentioned on the Daily What earlier this week, complete with trailer.
