Has this been invented yet?

In James Bond and other spy movies I’ve seen, occasionally the hero is given a pair of glasses or sunglasses that has a video camera embedded in the lenses, so that what he sees is also recorded (to a remote device, or maybe something behind his ear, I don’t know, they don’t elaborate on that part).

I searched around and found cameras (“stealth”) that were very teeny and small, but no glasses. Does anyone know if these are for real or if anything like that has been invented?

It’s easy now to slip a microrecorder in your pocket and tape audio conversations; is there anything yet that you could wear in plain view and video someone without them having a clue?

Note: I am not in this situation, I am merely very curious.

Thanks!

Searching ‘camera glasses’ on Google brought up a lot of hits.

(Anecdote: I remember seeing a porn site years ago which claimed to be filmed in this manner.)

PS: Is your user name a reference to Wicked?

I googled “spy cam glasses” and got a lot of hits.

Kinda sorta. Obviously the quote is from Wicked but I’m not a rabid fan of the show, I just like the concept expressed there.

As far as the Google hits: I see a lot of sunglasses with receivers, very few with audio though, and I so far haven’t seen any that are just regular glasses? If I were talking to someone with thick dark sunglasses on for a prolonged period that isn’t too stealthy.

Oh well. Thanks for the hits, I must have been searching… poorly.
