Have any Dopers tried Enzyte?

Ol’ Bob has long been the target of derision and mockery here at the SDMB, but has anybody here actually tried the product that Bob is plugging (no, not the missus)?

I heard somewhere, NPR perhaps, that Enzyte actually used to claim that the stuff would increase the size of your penis. They aren’t really claiming anything now, other than “natural male enhancement”, whatever that means.

So, have you tried the stuff, and how enhanced did your masculinity become?

If there is a lack of people who have tried Enzyte, or a lack of people willing to admit that they have tried Enzyte than I think that we should mobilize the brainpower of the SDMB and conduct our own clinical trials of the stuff. They give away free 30-day sample packs (actually $4.50 S&H). We can get some free samples and write up a clinical test with control groups and the works.

So, what say you? Shall we use our latent brain cycles for fun and knowledge?

Would that be the group that uses it during Bondage sex? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m on it now. I’d love to chat, but it’s difficult to type with one hand. Oh no, the Mrs. is calling me again! Help!

Are you kidding? I can barely lug the heavy bastard around as it is!

I’d considered it but my wife said she’d divorce me if I walked around looking like such a goofy bastard.

Uh, that would be if I looked like Bob, not pravnik’s mantool.

There could be some resemblance. You’re not a fireman, are you?

My husband wanted to try it for fun, so after checking out the ingredients as listed on their website and seeing nothing that stood out as being dangerous, he started filling out the online form. Then it asked you to enter your credit card number without saying why, and he hit the back button and cancelled. $4.50 is a lot for S&H - if a bottle costs, say, $20-30, that’s still a prime markup on those pills.

Man, have I got a headache…

Oh my god! There’s a large crease forming down my forehead!

[snicker, snicker]

So is there no interest in a scientific study? I guess that no one is “up” for it.

In the interest of science and man’s never ending quest to be hung like a malformed donkey, I purchased a one month supply of Enzite from the local grocery store(!), with the girlfriends well humored permission.

You have to take one pill every day for 3-4 months (projected cost $90 to $120) to get the projected result. After the 30 days I noticed no significant changes in anything. Still the same tackle I was issued in the first place. At the most I experienced mild heart palpitations and mild stimulant effect similar to 3 or 4 strong cups of coffee. I suppose that if your main sexual drawbacks were a lack of energy (a commonly documented phenomena) that Enzite may indeed be right for you. As would hundreds of other pills sold nation wide at convenience store counters.

Was I surprised? Not at all. If it worked as insinuated by ol’ Enzite Bob in the first place this stuff would be being fist fought over in the aisles.

 <— This guy might have taken it.
