One time a Guest posted copyrighted material in MPSIMS. Not only was an entire article cut and pasted, it was some lame urban legend. I told her that she shouldn’t have done that and included a Snopes link. Not too long later, a Mod deleted the article and warned the Guest. She pitted the whole incident but didn’t mention me by name. Does that count?
Twice. Once for soapboxing (but the thread played to mixed reviews), once for taking the mods at their word and rescuing some old threads by bumping them when they said to do so or forever hold our peace because they were going to nuke threads with no activity since some 199x date.

I haven’t been pitted yet to the best of my knowledge. I just searched the Pit for my user name and found only posts I’ve made there.
I haven’t been pitted that I’m aware of. I’m not a very incendiary gal. I think if I had the time to get involved in some of the heated discussions in Great Debates then I might find myself getting flamed. I also haven’t pitted anyone. I’ve read some things that have gotten my hackles up but usually it’s by a poster that I consider too much of an idiot to be worth my time and that poster usually gets themselves banned before they can really get my ire up.
One time, however, I started a pit thread (not about anyone here) and hoooooo boy did I ever bring down a shitstorm upon myself. I deserved it, ate my crow raw and cold and that was that.

I was going to say “not to my knowledge,” but I went and checked. Nope. Never been pitted. I guess I fly under the radar 
I’ve started a grand total of three pit threads in 4-1/2 years, and none of them pitted a Doper.
I’ve never been Pitted, either. Even when harsh words are written about me here and in some other nameless places in the Internets, there are lots of defenders of my posts, too, which is amazing in some of those cases.
This thread prompted me to check – just once, two years ago, which I do recall, it brought me to tears. Not at the OP, but later.
Rereading it now I can see the chip on my shoulder, I was itching to mouth off and being somewhat of an overbearing asshole. It turned out OK.

No. I contributed to a pit thread once, which caused at least a half dozen people to turn on me. It got really ugly and I was overwhelmed with trying to answer all the accusations and insults, most of which were illogical, and then I gave up. I have no idea what they said about me after I left.
