Have You Ever...?

No, but I’ve eaten a few.

Have you ever been on an Everglades airboat?

No, but then I’ve never been to the everglades. I have been on a couple of airboats in Texas, though(and once in LA).

Have you ever found lost or misplaced cash, that wasn’t already yours, in excess of $100.00?

No, but that’s part of my retirement plan.

have you ever fallen out of a tree?

From the OP:

I’m seeing a lot of "no"s here, when I thought the original premise was to find people who have actually done what was asked. In my opinion, just answering “no” defeats that purpose of finding people that have done interesting things.
Just sayin’.

I noticed that on page one, but decided to go with the flow.

Which means that people just ignore the the question posed and post their own questions.

Yes, just once that I can remember…and landed on one of my brothers.

Have you ever gotten stuck on an amusement park ride?

OMG YES. At the park in Ohio…Sandusky? I think. Big wooden coaster, we stopped 80% of the way up the main hill. A guy walked up the track (on a footpath alongside the track). He asked us to be patient, made sure nobody was too freaked.

It took maybe 10 minutes to fix the problem. When we came into the station people were cheering us and the guy running the ride let us go through again.
Have you ever been to a meet&greet backstage with a band?

Yes, sort of. A friend and I pushed our through the door during a break, being quasi-reporters for our college newspaper, to ask members of Pacific Gas & Electric questions about what was quoted elsewhere.
Q. Do you really read The Bible?
A. Just the parts about the herbs.

Have you ever been armed robbed?

As the OP who has been following the thread, I’ll modify things a bit to allow for “no, but I’ve done something close enough.”

For example, “Have you ever milked a goat?” could (IMHO) be adequately answered by, “No, but I raised goats on my Dad’s farm and won prizes for them at the county fair.” That’s fine, and it displays a knowledge of caring for goats; close enough. But if the answer was, “No, but I’m a breeder of purebred cocker spaniels,” that would be unacceptable, as it has no bearing on the question involving goats.

My intention in asking for “Yes” things that normal people would reasonably have done, was to avoid game-killers like “Have you ever walked on the Moon?” or “Have you ever flown like Superman?” or similar. Let’s keep it to experiences that normal people could reasonably have experienced, or close enough.

Of course, if we were to be joined by a poster who did claim to walk on the Moon, and that poster turned out to be Buzz Aldrin in real life, I don’t think we could argue with that.

I worked in a liquor store and we were robbed at gun point once and robbed by someone pretending to have a gun in a hoody pouch. We reacted the same to both robbers which was to open the register and back up. Both times I was not the person on the register, so I backed up all the way into the cooler. I stayed there until the door was locked and police were called.
Have you ever shaved your head?

Yes, I did when I was 17 or so, after having read some about Zen guy or other had shaved his head half-and half, so that he would be socially perverse so as to aid in his striving for solitude for meditation; me, my imitation was so I would continue to practice/play piano as long and deeply as possible.

Kids. Go figure.

Have you ever been nude in public?

Yes, if you mean with other people around. On a college camping trip, for example. Or a nude beach.

Not on 5th Avenue in NYC though

Have you ever run for elective office?

Yes. If a college club counts. I was elected head of the largest club at a major university.

Have you ever primarily resided outside the country of your birth?

Yes, I’m an American and had a semester abroad in London when I was a college junior.

HYE been to London?

Yes, a few times. Great city, and I’m looking forward to returning someday.

Have you ever eaten a pizza with anchovies?

All the time, I love 'em. Gout or no gout.

Have you ever donated a body part other than blood?

No, but I’m a listed bone marrow donor, if need be.

HYE been swimming when there was frost or snow on the ground?

Yes, but it was in a heated indoor pool. No polar bear club for me.

Have You Ever listened to five or more covers of the same song by different artists in a row?

Have You Ever listened to five or more covers of the same song by different artists in a row?

Yes, a few months ago a poster on Baker’s Dozen posted a link to Gordon Lightfoot’s “Song for a Winter Night” and I listened to 5 or 6 covers before finding a version I really enjoyed.
And yes to several questions in a row before this one–I have primarily resided outside the country of my birth, have been to London (was born there), love pizza with anchovies, am also a listed bone marrow donor, and have swum in an indoor pool in winter with frost on the ground.

Have you ever adopted a pet from a shelter?
