Yes. Every Harry Potter, every James Bond, every Sandman and Lucifer and Fables; and the list goes on.
Have you ever gone to a drive-in movie?
Oh yes. We clipped the wire to the antenna which meant the sound played on the radio, which meant we could roll up the windows on the pickup, which meant the weed smoke stayed right there with us. I do not remember any of those movies, only that we watched them.
Have You Ever been completely out of sight of land?
Done a few cruises. Also, have kayaked away from the beach until we’ve lost sight of land. That’s a bit scary.
Have you ever owned a non-traditional pet?
No, but my brother-in-law had a boa constrictor. Once, when he was cleaning the constrictor’s cage, he put the snake over his shoulder. Something spooked it, and it wrapped around him and started constricting. He found it hard to breathe but was able to get the snake off him - a close call he’ll never forget!
HYE touched a boa constrictor?
Yep-Went to bed with someone who had a pet boa…and woke up in the middle of the night with the pet in bed with us.

No, but a buddy of mine was the shooting-range instructor at Scout camp.

Yes, Mr.Wrekker insists I know how to shoot his guns. They are really loud. I hate guns. I am a big ole’ peace-nik. But learn I must.
HYE loaded a muzzle loading gun?
No, but I have been on a movie set, where it was done. It was a Western, and the gun specialist (not sure what else to call him) loaded it, handed it off to the costumed stuntman who would fire it, cameras rolled, the stuntman fired, cameras stopped, and we did it again–as I recall, maybe six or eight takes.
Have you ever attended a TV show taping?
I and a couple of other Airmen were selected to be on the Bozo Show in Chicago when they were promoting the military.
HYE been an extra in a movie?
Not me, but my children were extras on the set of a civil war movie (for TV) that was filmed in our area. They had a great time.
HYE swam with dolphins?
Just one.* A wild and “stinky” one. He (and it was definitely a ‘he’ ) stayed around the island for several months interacting with several swimmers, snorkelers, and scuba divers.
Have you ever ridden an animal other than a horse?
No, but I was at Philmont Scout Ranch we used burros to carry our gear for part of the way.

No, but I’ve lived in Mexico and visited northern Mexico including Laredo and Monterrey. The closest I’ve been to NM is San Antonio which must be 250 miles away.

I lost a wallet at a flea market. I remembered where I had it last and backtracked. Found the wallet but all the money was gone. They left the cards, which was a pleasant surprise.
