Yes. Years ago, I lived near a burger-and-beer place. One of the items on the menu was a buffalo burger. I had one from time to time; it was kind of like beef, but with a little more flavour. Yes, I liked it.

Yes, I was a bowler in a league for 3 years when lived in the UP of Michigan. I was probably the weak link on our team, but I had fun.

Yes, but not as a patient. Many years ago, a friend suffered a horrific accident, and they made an exception to the “family only” rule, just in case, so a few of us visited her in the ICU. I’m glad to report that my friend eventually recovered after a long period of time in the hospital, but was left a paraplegic.

Yes, for my hernia surgery back in '91.

Yes. When I was maybe 12 or so, we vacationed at a place up north. The local town was about 7 miles away, but it didn’t seem that far when we took the car. One day, I decided to go to town, and set off on foot. It was longer than I thought, but I kept going. I got to town, but had to call my (very worried) parents to pick me up.

Yep. Here (western PA) to Hilton Head is about 700 miles. Brutal drive right after work. Once on arrival I was stretching/groaning. A woman approached me, commiserating. Turns out she was complaining about the limo ride from the airport.

No, but a neighbor called 911 for me when she saw a drug-addled teen casually take my lawn mower from my garage one day. Then she ran to my house and told me about it. I had just finished cutting the grass and was sitting on the patio with a cold adult beverage
