After my previous post I had left the site up and checked it every so often. At one point I think one of the kitten found the webcam or something, because the image of the door started jumping around. I just happened to be watching when the door opened and a woman came in, turned the light on, and adjusted the webcam. Momcat came in, but the kittens pretty much ignored her; they were too busy playing with each other and the woman’s feet.
I kept watching while the woman straightened up the room and brought some food in (which the kittens also ignored). One of them climbed on top of the scratching post and sat there watching the others; I kept hoping he’d try to pounce down on one of them, but he didn’t.
Heh-heh. The little black and white one fell out of the bed backwards, and just climbed right back in. They all look like they’ve been gassed. I’ll check back when its playtime. Watching them sleep makes me want to take a snooze.
Awww… the kitties are all awake now and very lively. Momma looks like she might barf a hairball, though. Hopefully off-cam.
I took a look a while earlier with my two year old, and all the kittens were still sleeping. Ian does not talk much yet, but he said “Teegits are a-teep, Mommy”. Ian is addicted to the kitten cam.
Some of the kittens are still awake and moving around. ETA: I think two are off camera nursing atm. One was at the scratching post, but came over to the right of the nest just off camera.
Happy kitty pandemonium! After seeing that orange toy with the rolling ball in action, I want to see if I can find one of those for Seymour. What are they called?
One of them is on top of the scratching post, but all you can see is his (her?) tail hanging down while two of the others are attacking it; the other three are in the bed watching.
