There is a song out there which I’ve been trying to locate for the past few months but simply cannot find anything even close to it. My only chance is that someone, somewhere, will recognize these lyrics and point me in the right direction:

and all I can do is try…

It might be ‘when I see you standing there.’ It has an adult-contemporary-ish sound to it, and it is a woman singing. The chorus is extremely catchy!

Yes, YES! That explains why nothing was showing up in my searches…I didn’t have the darned lyrics right.
