HBO Voyeur

Okay, I’ve seen the ads on TV, read some blogging about it, and gone to check out www.hobovoyeur.com – a website, by the way, that needs to load massive amounts of data when you click into it, so be warned. It appears to be a fascinating freaky project that could suck hours out of your life if you got hooked on it. Has anyone gone beyond sniffing around the edges and actually gotten into it? If so, what do you think of it?

Explorer says the site is down.

You’ve been further than I have, but I am curious what’s up. Have you noticed how that promo looks a lot like the set for Angel Heart?

It just loaded for me in Firefox – loaded a lot faster than the first time, so I must have a lot of it cached on my machine now.

Damn – it’s seductive. When you click on the blinds or the binoculars, you get taken to the facade of an apartment building. Clicking on one section fades away the exterior wall and you can see what’s going on inside. The whole sequence runs about five minutes, then you can replay it to see parts you missed the first time around.

Oh! I got it. You misspelled hbo.

Should be: http://www.hbovoyeur.com/

I’m very anxious to see it. Unfortunately, I no longer have HBO so I’ll have to wait until it shows up at Blockbuster.

:smack: :smack: :smack:

Kalhoun, you can go see the five-minute film that’s the heart of it on the website, and a quick Googling showed me a bunch of sites discussing it.

Don’t be hard on yourself. It was kinda cute actually. Endearing.

:o Oh, now I’m really embarrassed.

Come to think of it, Hobo Voyeur would be a hell of an interesting show.

Only if the hobo has a shotgun.

Or a kitten.

Or a shotgun and a kitten.
