HBO's Family Tree

Anyone watching this? I’ve become quite fond of it. I love the fake TV shows especially.

Monkey on Skype: “I’m really not going to get to talk to her?” “I told you she’s asleep.” “She lost her job.” Was it because of you?"

“I don’t think I’d like to be a farmer. The seem to be either too posh or too angry.”

“I apologize if I offended you with my use of ‘hanky-panky,’ bit there are ladies present here and I didn’t want to say ‘fuck.’”

I really liked the latest (?) episode, especially. Willard was at his best, IMO, and skyping monkey cracked me up, too.

Yeah, it’s a lot of fun. Hopefully your thread won’t die a squealing death like mine has.

I’ve been watching, but generally off schedule so I didn’t open the threads about it, but I watched it almost live last night. Glad they found an excuse to bring Bea & Monk across the pond. The Sherlock Holmes/Star Trek mashup the Chief and Shaman were watching was a hoot, been missing those interludes since they shifted to California.

I’ve been watching and find it frustrating. I have actually laughed out loud at parts of almost every episode (that keeps me coming back) but it seems like there are very long intervals separating those moments that are almost painful.

Hey, I posted in it! And apparently killed it; mine is the last post (23 June). Well, fair play: I should put my powers to work on this thread, too. :frowning:

Anyway: love this show. I hope word of mouth will keep it going; I want to know what happens to all these people!

Liked the last episode. The Tudors-style sex scene on fake TV and Tom’s and Amy’s humping were both sexy and hilarious. Although I was sure that Tom was going to score with Lucy Pfister.

It was great how everyone in the group so easily accepted the Monkey situation.
