Well, that was interesting. Although it is all but useless, the yahoos at yahoo gave my draft a resounding F. Looking at it this morning, I think they’re wrong. Clearly it is a D-.
I started this draft at the same time I was finishing up one of my money leagues’ draft, so I wasn’t at my best as I was shifting websites and sucking at both drafts. But by and large I had decided before the draft that I was sick of finishing middle of the pack every year, so fuck the ADP and get the players with upside that I wanted in this league. So I reached, then reached, then reached again. And I’m OK with that.
I’m gonna need a bit of help with my RB2 slot, hell I may end up starting both Seattle RBs. But I really like the rest of my roster. And I think Judkins, Pat Bryant, and Sean Tucker give me some potential in the keeper realm.
One other thing I realized, in addition to the “fuck it, get the guy I want” attitude, is that the draft is much more fun when you can chat with the people you’re drafting with. I wholeheartedly suggest everyone join the Discord chat next year. Outside of making me think about @SenorBeef 's ball sack, it was quite interesting.

I’m not sure if that’s possible? Pretty sure that in the past that the players in the Thursday game couldn’t be picked up for week 1.
Also, I want to apologize for all the confusion about the draft yesterday - one of the keepers that I didn’t include was so significant that we couldn’t see any way forward except to reset and let me make the fixes. Thankfully, it didn’t take long and then Yahoo didn’t make us wait another hour.
Well week 1 I scored the second to last highest score, and this week I finished in first place. So that’s fun.

Woof. The only player of mine that managed to hit their projection was my kicker.
I’m going to cruise to a win on the backs of my Defense and Kicker (and Josh Allen). Currently sitting as the top point scorer this week in spite of CeeDee getting hurt and putting up a goose egg, Chase Brown and Isaiah Pacheco combining for less than 6 points and LaPorta yet to play. Weird one.
I’m going to steal a win thanks to Baltimore’s defense. The Lions are usually pretty meh on the road, but they showed up this week and Mark Andrews finally remembered he’s Mark Andrews. He has 21 points with less than 30 seconds to play; he scored less than a full point in weeks 1-2 combined.
Mid game I was kicking myself for not pulling the Ravens defense. I figured Mark Andrews having a good game and the Ravens having somewhere near the maximum bad score was the only way I was going to lose. But sort of fortunately for me Andrews’ second TD made it a moot point so at least I don’t have to beat myself up over the decision. I did have the 4th highest point total and still lost which is always annoying.
Rough 1-2 start for what I think is still a pretty good team. Power rankings still put me on top. But we’ll see.
Well, I survived picking up the wrong streaming QB and am now the only 3-0 team! Didn’t expect to be doing this well…

I am picking the wrong damn QB every week. Fortunately my team is looking pretty good anyway.
I didn’t pull Jaylen Warren, any other Sunday this season I surely would have been awake, but was out with a friend celebrating his birthday and I’m never drinking Jack Daniels again!
