My #2 and #3 pick are now out for the season. Congrats to my opponents the rest of the year.
Whelp, I guess my strategy of pairing CeeDee Lamb and Tyreek Hill as a 1-2 punch is going great.
Rough start for the champ. I put up 52 points this week, which is probably my lowest score I’ve ever put up in this league if not all of fantasy football ever in 20 years in probably 8 leagues. No real excuse either like someone being hurt early in a game. 1-3 is not a great start but I have enough talent to make a run still I think.
Picked up Rico Dowdle early this morning when I saw Hubbard was out. Boy, am I glad for insomnia.
Aaand I lost thanks to my kicker getting injured in a game in which his team put up 40 points. Yay.
I hit a 99% projected win over my opponent 2 hours into the Sunday morning games which is quite a start. After a poor start I’m (probably) going back 3-3 and should be pretty competitive on score.
After the Thursday night and Sunday morning games, Omni has 0.2 points.
And a 45% chance to win.
Because he’s only had one player play. Just a weird coincidence that his whole team starts after the Sunday morning games.
My 141 points is the highest score this season and by a decent margin.
I’m 5 points from having the highest scoring team overall (and I’m all probability I will have the highest score after this week), yet I’m two games out of first place. Oh and if anyone wants to ride the Rico Dowdle train he is officially available. He’s earned at least a timeshare going forward in Carolina but I already have 4 starters at RB. Looking for a TE or keeper prospect.
There’s also a reasonable chance I could have the highest scoring team and be 3-3. Big Mack is projected to lose but 15 but he’s got four players left. Travis Kelce or DeAndre Swift having multi-TD games could sink me.
Oh shit.
Well I’m not sure I really deserve to be 6-0, but I’ll take it.
My scoring in week 6:
Jayden Daniels: 23.23
LV Defense: 23.00
All seven other positions: 17.10
And the LV defense was just a one week pickup since my regular DEF was on a bye.
Thought I was finally mounting a comeback with the 3rd best score last week, only to be up against the 2nd best score last week.
Sorry about that. Well, not really.
This weekend was a good reminder of why I hate the early morning games. I’m glad Robinson and Vidal made up for Fields being himself. Fields has had a few nice games, but Nix has been more consistent with only one trash game to start the season. I don’t mind sticking with Nix as long as he at least puts up double digits which is a low bar but still better than relying on the Jets.
Seems like every one has their best game against me
No joke - unless I end up with 3 better keepers, I will be keeping my kicker, Brandon Aubrey, in the 12th round next year. That dude is one of the top kickers every year like clockwork.
Well my undefeated season came crashing to an end… never good when your opponent has 137.70 and still has his QB to go on Monday night.
Also, when was the last time we saw a QB put up a score like Tua did - negative 8.07 points? And @Munch still has an outside shot to win.
You’re still going to be in first place thanks to me. And let’s face it, if you win a game with 63 points you’re not really undefeated.
I’m about to put up an historically bad score this week, and none of my roster is on a bye.
Such are the tales of woe of the first place team…
My 2nd, 3rd and 4th round draft picks are all out hurt. My 1st rounder is on a bye.
My #2 RB just scored 0.60 on Thursday night.
I’m starting a rookie QB and TE, and am debating which of the three waiver wire pickups I’ve made I should start at flex.
At this point I’ll be pleasantly surprised if I make it to 9 wins.
