Damn, Omni, ease up on the outrage meter. I thought you were just good-naturedly busting my balls with the “set the fucking keepers,” but after this post it looks like you meant that seriously. That’s about as much of an overreaction as I can imagine.
Setting the keepers in yahoo is irrelevant for your precious board because they don’t get filtered out of the prerankings. Just knowing about them is irrelevant as well because you can see them in this very thread. They’ve been posted for a week now, so, to use your words, “set your fucking board.” Why are you waiting for me to do some bookkeeping that won’t effect you setting your board anyway?
And stuff your “was supposed to do it on Tuesday.” Who made you the grand dictator? I have repeatedly described the deadline as a soft deadline, and even if it weren’t as commish it is completely within my rights to take my sweet ass time.
I’m happy to set you as commissioner and let you take care of it if you like.
It’s a little of both. I’m not outraged, but I’m annoyed. It’s intended to be a good-natured ball busting, but a ball busting that gets the task accomplish nonetheless.
Yes, I can browse the thread but that doesn’t account for anyone who may have PMed or emailed you their keepers in an attempt to keep the reveal secret so that it doesn’t bias other keeper selections. All in all, I don’t want to do any work based on what might end up being partial or incorrect data.
I’m starting to process everything now. No keepers were sent to me privately, except I guess mine, which are Nicks, Bradshaw and the Jets.
I am currently going through my email, PM and this thread with a fine tooth comb to make sure I didn’t miss any last minute trades, verify the original trades were entered correctly, and send out last minute reminders to anyone who forgot about keeper declaration. (I only see keepers for 11 people including me. That leaves Bababooey, furt and Wilson with no keepers. I want to verify with them that that’s intentional. Hopefully they posted as much to this thread and I just didn’t notice it yet, but I figured I’d give you guys the heads up on the progress as of this minute.)
Here is the keeper list as I see it. I haven’t yet entered it into the yahoo league; I just this minute finished this list and wanted to post for those who have been waiting for it. PM/email me any corrections.

Keepers are set and can be viewed in draft results by team. Note that this screen doesn’t list rounds, but rather the pick order. If you’ve traded for picks, then (for example) your 10th pick may or may not be in the 10th round. Switch the view to by round to verify everything is set as expected.
I’m calling for Omni to receive the Redskins Offseason Superbowl Award. This friggin guy picks the turn in the first two rounds, where he’ll probably snatch up a starting RB and starting WR to go with keepers Philip Rivers, Chris Johnson and Michael Crabtree. Ouch.
EDIT: Reminder that the draft is tonight, 10:15pm ET. Happily I’m already sleepy so little chance I sleep through it this year.
No, trades have no bearing on waiver priority because it’s a parity mechanism. Reverse order sounds right; that helps smooth out the advantage the early drafters get.
No thanks on the trade, I’m a fan of 5th pick this year. I wasn’t painting the turn as so good, but rather saying that he already has a stud QB, RB, and WR plus his first and second rounders, which happen to be on the turn.
Reminder: If something comes up and you can’t attend the draft, I’ll do it for you. You’ll get better results than an autodraft. Change your yahoo password to something temporary and PM me the account details.
Ugh, just looked at how the 1st Round will likely go tonight, and I hate, hate, hate having the corner picks this year (in a 14 team league, with Chris Johnson, Ray Rice, Mendenhall, and Aaron Rodgers are already off the board). There will probably be absolutely no one there I consider to be a good value. I can either settle for guys I don’t like, or reach for guys I do.
