I thought about making the obvious starting changes for Post Mahomes (Den DEF/Gronk/Ju-ju), but we haven’t set a precedent of doing that in this league.
Did we ever come to a decision about Post Mahomes?
If we want to start adjusting her roster I’m okay with eating the loss it would give me last week.
How do you solve a problem like Post Mahomes?
- Commish sets roster each week going forward.
- Commish sets rosters going forward AND retroactively.

If we taking “adjusting the roster” to just mean slotting in the highest projected player for any players that are out, it looks like this is the only game that actually changes.
I’m not a fan of the second option, but would bow to the league’s will.

Nor am I. The poll is mostly just to get a feel of the league’s thoughts. I’d think a strong supermajority would need to agree to do it. It’s really generous of Beef to offer up his win for the purposes of this, but that’s still a really tough call.
I’m fine with either issue. Also, who is Quack Attack? I had such a dreadful week that I’m probably going to lose anyway, but they had Aaron Jones in the lineup who I don’t think anyone thought had a chance to play this week. Carrying 3 TEs is a bit rich , especially with Hunter and Enron as two of them.

Sir T-Cups, if you could get your wife to manage her roster for the rest of the season for the balance reasons I covered in #119 we’d appreciate it for the competitive balance of the league.
So I’m playing Post Mahomes this week.
I really want to get the lineup adjusted for the team before the week starts, but it’s not too straightforward. Both of her QBs are on a bye week.
I’d suggest - J Williams to bench; Kamara from flex to RB; Cole to Flex; Ertz to IR; Gronk to TE.
Strictly by projected points you could make a case for Fitzgerald in for Hilton and MINN in for DEN, but those are really close.
For QB I see two choices - I can put in a waiver claim now for the highest projected QB for week 9; or wait till after waivers clear to pick up the highest remaining.
Or, hopefully, she’ll resurface…
I’d say wait for waivers, some people may drop a QB to waivers if they’ve already dealt with bye weeks at the position. Then, pick up the highest projected points QB
I’ve edited her roster for Week 9. Darnold was the highest project QB - but he’s questionable. If it becomes clear that Darnold won’t play by Saturday, I will switch him out for whoever is left (there are about four other starting QBs on the waiver wire right now).
Looking again at Post Mahomes - TY Hilton is now Doubtful, and Larry Fitzgerald who is on the bench is projected for more points(1.21 vs 4.97).
Also the DEN defense is projected at 2.80; and the MINN defense which is now on the bench is at 6.99.
Does anyone disagree with me making these swaps tomorrow? As I am the opponent this week, I want to be as transparent as possible…
I’ll also keep an eye on updates to Darnold’s status.
If you want, I can steer this week so that it’s not weird.
So I’ve made the moves I think are warranted under the premise of picking the best projected player - Fitz in for Hilton; MIN in for DEN; picked up Rivers for Darnold.
Munch - absolutely, if you think there is anything more fair or better to do - please make the changes.

Spiritus Mundane has Joe Mixon starting and no other RB on the bench. I’m inclined to say they have to take the zero at that slot.
Of course, I’ll probably find a way to lose anyway.
Well, he should have moved Singletary from Flex to RB and started any of his bench WRs; that would have gotten him a few more points. We’ll see if it makes a difference.
I think it’s fitting however that dalej42 had both Nick Chubb (losing a sure TD there) and Kyler Murray (gaining one on the Hail Murray play)…
Of course, I may wind up winning because of the points I got from DeAndre Hopkins on that play.
Yeah, I need Justin Jefferson to light it up to pull out a win.
I’ve only been in this league a couple years, is 25 the most points put up by a D/ST? That really hurt me.
