He Hate Me Keeper League 2022 - Year 20

Yeah, that was me. Grumble, grumble…

Bah. I screwed up and didn’t check my lineup before the games today and accidently started Hollywood Brown. I don’t think this league does that sort of correction but if it does I would like to get that slot back by sticking him on my bench via commish tools.

In the event we decide I can get that slot back I would start Christian KIrk and Donovan Peoples-Jones as my starting 2 WRs.

I swapped the players in - I think that Beef’s intentions are as pure as his heart. If anyone has any objections, feel free to PM me and we’ll figure it out.

As his opponent for this week, meh.

What a shitty attitude. Not only do I always try to help people with this shit as a commissioner, but I went out of my way to help you very recently during the dynasty draft which ended up being hugely beneficial to you when I could’ve just said “meh” to the whole thing.

Thanks @Munch for taking care of this - I was away on vacation and my access was spotty.
For what it’s worth, @SenorBeef , I read RNATB’s “meh” as it wouldn’t have mattered who you started at WR, he still is losing to you by over 25 points…

Eh? That was a meh of non-objection, which is what Munch asked for.

I guess it sounded more like a “fine, whatever, I’m not going to argue it” kind of mild objection to me.

Alright, back on top, #1 in points, and 1 game up on 2nd place. Time to cruise my way to the playo-

Getting butt blasted by Justin Fields is not how I expected to spend my day. My team looked so promising after draft day but everyone has been hurt all year and I probably won’t make the playoffs again. I can’t get anywhere in this league despite often starting with the best keepers.

Well Christian Watson has 5 TDs in 2 games. I wonder if it’s a fluke or if he’s really panning out. I kept him on my roster as basically an expected waste of space this year as a lottery ticket since he’d be a 13th round keeper next year and I wonder if that’s actually going to hit.

It’s kind of amazing that I’m 5-5 and still in the playoff race, barley. Johnathan Taylor and Deandre Swift, my first 2 picks, have been injured more than not. Kyle Pitts has no injury, Marcus Mariota just sucks, but that’s picks 1 2 and 3 being massive disappointments.

My other pick JK Dobbins was IRed. As was 5th rounder Hollywood Brown. I can barely field a team some weeks.

Not a ton of keeper potential. Kareem Hunt may be a great keeper in the 4th if he goes to a team that will use him as a bell cow next year, Donovan People’s Jones in the 13th and Christian Watson in the 15th will probably be worth a keep. But not great keepers like I usually get.

Kyler Murray being out was a double hit - I need points for my QB spot (which is now going to be Colt McCoy) and I’m up against the Arizona defense, which seems like it might do better in what will probably be a lower scoring game on both sides since Colt McCoy is playing. Went from like a 78% win chance to 50/50.

Kyle Pitts being out for the year adds to my injury total although it wasn’t like he wasn’t (fantasy) useless before that anyway.

Ugh 1st to 5th. It’s entirely possible my luck has run out.

Don’t forget - it’s a 6-team playoff, so you’re still in the post-season.

Yes I remember this one Mr. Hamlet. The Dallas D is the only pick I’ve made this season that hasn’t been a big disappointment. They are carrying my team. I may even end up using a keep on them next year.

Well, I backed into a bye in the playoffs on a couple of injuries and terrible defense. Dale should have clobbered me this week, what with none of my RBs being 100% and Lamar Jackson out. I guess I’ll take it, but at this point I’m hoping Kupp’s healing factor catches fire and Lamar Jackson isn’t hurt as bad as I think he might be. Thank god for the bye.

Top seed, 1st round bye and a nice set of keepers for next year. Let’s see how I can screw this up.

I feel like I snuck into the 5-seed but I have been riding a 4 game win streak so it wasn’t exactly sneaky. This season has been pretty wild but a lot of fun. I was looking back at my draft and my picks from rounds 3-6 are all on the IR. All of that time plugging holes made it seem like my team didn’t stand a long term chance. Comparing points for to points against shows why luck matters

I think Defense is criminally overlooked in fantasy. Sure, they will occasionally put up negative numbers but an okay D can be a steady source of automatic points that you don’t have to worry about. My D outscored my QB in 3 out of my last 4 match ups.

Tyler Lockett is out for the year. This is getting ridiculous.
