I wasn’t expecting a superstar year out of Rodgers but I was hoping for a serviceable set and forget QB. That fell apart instantly so it will be interesting to see if Richardson can stay consistent and how long it takes Young to develop and become an actual option. I’ll definitely be making some moves but I really need to see some week 2 action to get a better baseline.
Forgot to post a trade announcement: Dave gets Deebo Samuel, I get Amari Cooper. Since Aiyuk got injured almost immediately after the trade I suspect I am getting the worse end of the deal.
I just noticed that @Omniscient benched the Commanders’ defense (in fact, didn’t start one at all) against the Bears, which seems remarkably prescient given just how bad the Bears’ offense had been until this week.
Tua is way more consistent at this point. We shall see how things shake out.
Also, benching Washington was an accident. Can’t take credit for that. It was a waiver claim and I didn’t get a chance to correct my lineup before Thursday kickoff. So, that was a serendipitous brain fart.
Whoever loses between Omni and I is probably going to be the second highest scorer of the week, I hate when that happens. Might end up being a consequential game with both of us at 4-2.
I’m now up to having had six different Rams running backs on my roster this season. Don’t know if that’s a record but it does speak of my desperation to find starting running backs.
