He (or she) is alive...........

Apparently the tomahawk throwing has kept him young…

From today’s celebrity birthday listing with the horoscope. Vera Miles is 88. Ms. Miles, along with many other TV and movie roles, was in the pilot episode of The Fugitive. In one movie (The Morning After), Jane Fonda played an over-the-hill actress who remarked that she was supposed to be “the next Vera Miles”.

But, but, but Psycho! She’s one of only two credited actors from Psycho still with us. The other is Pat Hitchcock, as in daughter-of. (She played the co-worker of Janet Leigh at the real estate office.) Vera is a year older so Pat has the inside track here, barely.

The other “Man from UNCLE”-David McCallum still with us at 84.

You mean Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard of NCIS?

Not famous, but I just learned that John McCain’s mother is 106yo and spry enough to attend his funeral.

I wonder if anyone thought to hook her up with President Carter.

His wife of 72 years, Rosalynn, may not approve of that.

We’ll he’s lusted in his heart . . .(I forgot she was still around).

Was listening to an interview with John Dean today. He was pretty young during the Watergate scandal so not surprised he’s still around but he made me think of G. Gordon Liddy and sure enough, still kicking at 87.

It’s a fine distinction, but where Liddy is concerned, I think it’s worth drawing the line between living and undead.

I thought Bill Daily (I Dream of Jeannie, The Bob Newhart Show) had died a long time ago. I found out he’d been alive when he died last week.

well most people are alive when they die

Bill Daily? Damn.
