In my eighteen years on this planet, I have never once had a headache. On top of this I have been exposed to a lot of headache causing crap. I had a concussion once. I’ve had jaw surgery and had my jaw wired shut. I am a pro fighter which leads to moderate cranial abuse. Played water polo which also led to plenty of head shots. I oil paint, and the fumes tend to give many people headaches. Anyway, you get my point. I’ve never had one. Can anyone tell me why or maybe tell me where I can find out why? One plausible answer that has been offered by family and friends is that in order to have a headache you have to have a brain. I guess the implication there is that I don’t have a brain.
Also I’ve never had a bloody nose. And I’ve had it broken four times but never bad enough to need it corrected.
Perhaps you just have a very high tolerance for pain. I don’t see how you can have a concussion without a headache. Or have your jaw wired shut without creating tension in your neck that could lead to a headache?
Would you volunteer for a series of experiments where all of us will bash your skull in with a baseball bat until you say it hurts?
I am old… aren’t I? I’d be glad to submit to the head bashing experiment if there’s a little money involved, or at least some good food for after the event.
