Headliner 6@6 Poll #40: Post Your 6 Neil Young Faves PLUS Links To All Past 71 Polls

This is embarrassing. Neil Young is one of those artists that I’ve always intended to learn about and then, well, didn’t. :o

So, um, I only know three songs, and one of them is “Southern Man” which I don’t really like. I adore Cinnamon Girl, though. Do I redeem myself?

  1. Cinnamon Girl
  2. Heart of Gold

Pick up Everyone Knows This Is Nowhere, which has Cinnamon Girl on it. Decade is a good greatest hits package, though it doesn’t have anything from 1975 (I think) or later.

PS–I’m the same poster as Fish42. I dropped out for a while when they
started charging for memberships. When I decided to start posting again,
I had forgotten my passowrd. Normally, they’ll e-mail you your password,
but I’ve since changed e-mail accounts so it no longer matches the e-mail
in their records. In the end, it seemed easier to just get a new username.

I’ve done a little research and find, even more embarrassingly, that I do know more Neil Young songs. I just didn’t know that I knew them. :smack:

You may ignore these for the survey. It just bothered me that I was so freakin’ ignorant. (Not that ignorance is all that new for me, but still!)

  1. Cinnamon Girl
  2. Old Man
  3. Heart of Gold
  4. The Needle and the Damage Done
  5. Harvest Moon
  6. After the Gold Rush
Others I knew: “Only Love Can Break Your Heart,” “Keep On Rocking in the Free World,” “Down By the River,” “Hey Hey, My My,” and “When You Dance, I Can Really Love.”
