Heads up for "Bloom County" and "Calvin & Hobbes" fans

Starting today, MyComicsPage begins a run of all strips from the beginning of Bloom County through the end of Outland. Six strips will be posted each day. Supposedly, there are many bits which were never included in the various published collections (maybe for good reason ;)).

The entire run of Calvin & Hobbes is there as well.

There is a subscription fee of $10 for one year. You can choose to have selected comics sent to you via e-mail. I don’t mean to come off like a salesman here, be aware that the strips are not the best quality – averaging only about 22k for the daily .gif images and around 80k for the Sunday entries.

Calvin & Hobbes always takes me back to my childhood. My friends and I passed a lot of time in grade school drawing mutated snow-goons.

Actually, Calvin has been running there for years and is free. I read it daily.

Thanks, but I have read and re-re-re-read ALL of the C+H and BC strips. The two best comics of my lifetime, without contention. It disgusts me that frat boys love Calvin so much, but whaddaya gonna do?
