rjung blasts Judge Moore on the Ten Commandments issue. Now, I voted for Bush mainly because I’m a gun owner. Not a foaming-at-the-mouth gun owner. I have a target rifle. I shoot paper targets. Not people. Not animals. A golf club would be a better home defense weapon. It’s single shot and has a 30inch barrel. It’s a bit unwieldy at 16.4 pounds. I have no desire to own a handgun. I prefer to avoid situations where one would come in handy.
The problem is, I’m an atheist and I believe everyone should be free to live their life the way they want. They should not have religion crammed down their throats. I think Ashcroft is an asshole.
I think it’s kind of amusing really. It’s kind of like the 2nd amendment issue. Now the shoe is on the other foot. The conservatives are interpreting their beliefs into the constitution and the liberals are saying “What part of [seperation of church and state] do you not understand?” Hehe. I think that would make a cool bumper sticker.
