My name is PRISM02 and I’ve been lurking around the board for some time, reading and watching and debating on whether or not I wished to sign in. After reading what seems to have happened to some ‘newbies’, I figured that I might best introduce myself first.

I’m a man above 35 and below 50, single, heterosexual, of reasonable intelligence and I freely admit that I don’t know everything, and I am what could be termed as portly in appearance – which means a little extra weight that seems to like it right about my middle.

So, hello, I’ll be posting here from time to time and sharing my thoughts with you all as I read yours.

The oldbies will soon “show you around”. Ignore them. Don’t trust anyone with over 500 posts (unless they signed the MASTER LIST for NEWBIES in MPSIMS, of course. I hope to join those noble ranks someday myself)

I just created a “short course” for newbies, so you know what (andsometimes who) to avoid.

Welcome to the SDMB, Prismo2. My husband has a little ‘spare tire’ around his mid-section, too - he says he’s building a garage to protect his ‘sporting equipment’.

I don’t know why he needs something he could park a semi under when all he has is a mini-bike. :wink:
