Much as I hate to provide any sort of support for this asshole, the Army does send soldiers to parts of Africa all the time on training missions. We had them in Bamako, camped out on the lawn at the Marine House. Bunch of pussies, if you ask me, as they spent much of their time hooked up to icewater IVs. I talked with some other Special Forces types who were definitely NOT pussies, who had done training ops in the Congo, working with local army troops. The jungle is not a place for weaklings.

But the type of op he claims to have been on would have been as some sort of escort duty in an urban setting. I seriously doubt that it was all that secret and that he’s just plumping his resume so we’ll think he’s one of the cool guys. He’s already been proven to be a liar by others in this thread, so we have no real reason to believe he was on any mission in Africa, or even in the armed forces. If indeed he was in the military, his actions since discharge make him a disgrace to the uniform.

Let me tell you about something that happened to me not long ago:
My wife and I, and our son, came back from Germany. We decided on living here in Kentucky while I was finishing my degree, and we chose a small community near Lexington.

It was a nice community. Hardworking folks. Whites and some Mexicans. Almost no blacks. The kids would play together, launch rockets, whatever kids do… I even built them a 4ft tall trebuchet so they could hurl snowballs in the winter.

We lived there 6 years, since we were saving for a house and I was working and going to school part time.

Then the management changed for the property.

Empty townhomes were suddenly filled with blacks. I paid no attention, since I had enough on my plate as it was. We kept to our circle of friends and that was that.

Then it started: Our Christmas decorations were torn down and/or stolen. My truck was keyed. Our home was egged, along with several others. Screaming arguments became a nightly thing at all hours in the streets. The police were regulars on our street. Drug arrests were made, and made again.

Then came a home invasion, with blacks holding guns to the head of an infant if the homeowner didn’t give up the cash. Poor woman moved out the next day.

Then came shootings. 3 different times, all less than 100 feet from our front door.

I started sleeping with a loaded shotgun next to me, while my family slept upstairs.

Then a close personal friend of ours was beaten and raped, threatened with death if she spoke to anyone about the matter. She was scared, and the rapists, yes black ones, came back again and again… she finally had enough and went to the cops. Eventually, she moved away to another town to start over.

Me personally, I was the target of 3 robbery attempts by blacks. The only reason they didn’t rob/beat/kill me is because I carry a liscenced firearm. Only time in my life I have had to draw a weapon on someone outside of a combat zone. Thank God I never had to fire.

We had had enough. We moved out, and moved far away from the city.

I have seen this happen not only in my own neighborhood, but in the neighborhood of my parents, siblings and friends… it has nothing to do with socio-economics. I have seen it happen in America, South and Central America, Europe and yes, even Africa… at some point, one has to stop making excuses for them and start holding them accountable for their own actions and shortcomings, and the consequences of same.

And yes, I still sleep with a loaded shotgun next to me. Police response time out here is a pitiful 15 minutes… you know how dead you can get in 15 minutes?

When I was in the Balkans I heard the same rant only the despised criminal groups were White European Muslims (Serbia and Bosnia), White European Eastern Orthodox Christians (Bosnia and Croatia) and White European Roman Catholic and Protestant Christians (Serbia and Bosnia). I’ve never felt remotely threatened or endanger in an American city through the behavior of some of the rural people has given me worries.
