For a partly cloudy day, there’s been a real abundance of clouds and lack of sunshine.
I have mixed feelings about Vegas - since I’m not a gambler, that doesn’t appeal to me in the least, but I would like to see it, just to see it. We’re talking about taking a camping trip out west, and I’m sure we’ll have to stop there along the way. Some day… maybe next year.
Danged furnace is acting up today. :grumble: Service tech has been summoned, but seein’ how it’s Sunday, it could be awhile.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes, everyone. We’re just having a chilled out, relaxed day and enjoying it. Hubby will make dinner tonight, which suits me just fine.
Another day from hell here in the Midwest. We had about 6 inches of snow overnight. Later tonight another polar vortex is expected so the highs on Monday and Tuesday are predicted to be subzero. Like -7 for a high. I was supposed to have a playdate today (can 50 some year olds have playdates???) but we cancelled due to weather, but it’s sunny and in the 20s now. So I took down the Christmas tree and all the decorations. I get sad taking down the decos. Went for a walk in the snow and am now cooking dinner and lunch and dinner for tomorrow. And having hot flashes so I’m in a tee shirt and shorts…
We have heat again. A $10 piece of plastic in the fuel pump drive line shredded, creating the awful racket we were hearing. Some days (well, most of them) I miss the house in Cottonfield County. Wood burning stoves don’t have moving parts…

In case anyone was wondering, the crockpot chicken recipe I tried today pretty much sucked. I added carrots and onions and some garlic powder, and it was still bland as all get-out. The recipe is in the garbage, which is where it belongs. ugh.
Sweet Hawaiian?
Sweet Hawaiian what? If you’re referring to the chicken dish, it was neither. Just bland. Very bland.
There was a “Sweet Hawaiian Crock Pot Chicken” posted on Facebook.
Thanks for taking that bullet for me, then… 
It was breaded in the picture.
I’d think it would slough off in a crock pot.
I might make the sauce, and use it like sweet and sour chicken.

Youse guys probably have no way of knowing, but I’m not a fan of spicy foods, so if I say something’s bland, you can bet it’s pretty much flavorless.
OK, so I deleted the recipe share. I can’t give you back the time used in making it, eating it, or cleaning up afterwards.

I know i typed it but don’t know if it went through
I’m hungry but everybody else just got home and if I have to look at any of them i might snap.
OYKW and I went to Logan’s Roadhouse for a burger. Well, I got a burger cause I had a hankerin’ for a burger and fries and OYKW got a steak. My burger was really good and he said his steak was great. So win-win! I had to tell him to go ahead and have a beer if he wanted one. See, I’m takin’ these antibiotics so I am abstainin’ from alcohol, cause, well, I’m takin’ antibiotics. He really wanted a beer but said he wouldn’t get one since I can’t right now. Silly man! Ok, kinda sweet of him. So he had his beer. I had a diet Coke. It’s all good.
Ok, so who’s up for tomorrow? Next person to post? 
Supposedly, we’ll get a little rain Thursday, which we can really use. My hips aren’t sure it’s going to be that long before rain. Skipped deheathenating today, since the digestive system felt a bit touchy and I thought staying near the “facilities” was a good move.
I can assure you that you’re evaluation was off; waaaayyy off.
