By the way, my real name is Robert. I’m 55, and a couple of yrs ago I moved back to my old homeplace in Alabama, after living in Georgia (but only about 36 miles away) for some 35 yrs or so.
I’m a builder, but since nobody is building new houses these days, I’m investing in some foreclosures, repairing them, reselling them, or renting them.
I have two grown children, and have been married about forever.

Some of the setup of the boards is a relic of the days when the boards used to be hosted on a 386 in someone’s basement, I think. But seriously, the forums here are streamlined for conversation, debate, questions and general snark and so don’t allow none of them fancy pictures and stuff on 'em.

Sounds like you moved from West GA to East AL. I’m from large and in charge LaGrange, GA over in West GA and my home stompin’ grounds are all over West Central GA and East Central AL. Where ya from?
yeah, YogSosoth: I figured somebody was going to make that joke. I got it the other day when I posted the picture on another general discussion board where I often hang out. Actually, I have the dreaded white man’s syndrome= flat azz. My black friend in the background there is Cisco, a Paso Fino.

swampbear: I know LaGrange well. I lived just up the road from you, in Carroll County, Ga. from about 1974 up until December of 2009, when I moved back over to adjoining Cleburne County, Al, where I had grown up, till 18, on property that was my Great Great Grandfathers. So now I’m back there. I still do business, though, in Carroll County. In fact, I just got home from Temple, Ga. I jam around on some music with some guys there. My Mom also lives in Temple.
