Ok, I heard this guy interviewed on NPR months and months ago. He was a singer who mostly did old stuff, Sinatra type stuff, but his latest album had a cover of Prince’s “Kiss”.
Anyone?

Tom Jones does a cover of Kiss. It’s quite hot.
Tom Jones did it a while back.
I was going to say Tom Jones, but that was years ago that he did that cover.
Checking Wikipedia, I would say Mandy Lion but he’s metal.
Edit: I see that an Italian bossa nova group released their cover last year too.
It’s Art of Noise featuring Tom Jones. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLRDYsu6hwQ
I heard Tom Jones covered it. He called it “Rio”.
Well, his latest album doesn’t have “Kiss” on it.
I don’t have speakers hooked up to this computer at the moment - was this the interview?
But it does have a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘The Hitter’ - I downloaded the new album as soon as it came out, and have most of his others.
And that’s SIR Tom Jones to you all.
French musician Don Nino has a fairly decent cover of “Kiss”, but I don’t think he’s ever done Sinatra.
It sounds a bit like you’re referencing Michael Buble, but I don’t think he’s done ‘Kiss’.http://www.michaelbuble.com/
I don’t think any of these are the one I heard but THANK YOU, because I am going to have fun checking all of them out!
Tony DeSare maybe?
That’s him! Thanks psycat!
