Help converting wma files to aiff

I need to convert some Windows Media Audio (.wma extension) files to aiff files.

What is the best converter to do this?

I would prefer a shareware or freeware solution and I would prefer the program be Mac OS X software.

Any suggestions?

If such a product exists, it is quite difficult to find. An easier way, if more imperfect, would be to convert the WMA to MP3 and then convert that to AIFF.

Been a while since my Mac lived, but I had Toast by Adaptek and I think it did this. Could be mistaken, but it’s a start.

Thanks. I may have to resort to converting to mp3 first. But because that will lower the quality of the sound, it’s a last resort.

Version Tracker I’ve used before. It gave me a few leads that I’m checking out, but none look really promising.

ASFTools will convert it to WAV.
