I saw this on a car, no other stickers or signs on the vehicle. It’s just bizarre to me, does anyone know what the heck this means?
It’s been bugging me for a few days, and no one I’ve shown it to has any idea either.
Thanks for any info

Eyesore is a heavy metal band.
Ah I saw them while trying to google for info, but I didn’t put them together. What an uh… interesting logo.
Thanks!
Yes … interesting… .
I’m not sure what I expected before clicking the link, but that wasn’t it.
I should have described it before I asked people to blindly click, sorry.
It’s a cartoonish picture of a child with the word “Eyesore” where his eyes should be, holding a mans head and sticking his whole hand into the mans mouth.
Most of the people I showed the picture to here asked me if the man was supposed to be Jesus. I don’t think so, but…
I guess the mystery is solved, but I still don’t understand the picture
Maybe it is a comment on Christianity. I don’t really know, but it made me laugh. Thanks!
I couldn’t rest until I understood this, so I googled Eyesore lyrics. I think the first stanza here is the explanation:
Thank you all for not only ID’ing the sticker but also giving me an idea as to what the heck it means. I stood in the parking lot staring at that thing for at least 10 minutes (Before I even took the picture!) seriously thinking WTF?!?! Like it was going to suddenly make sense. :smack:
So is Eyesore Angels, but I don’t see any evidence that that sticker has anything to do with either of them. Eyesore is an unsigned band from Germany. Eyesore Angels is an unsigned band from the UK.
TruCelt, those are the lyrics for a song called “Eyesore” by band called Janus. Video here. That sticker isn’t theirs, either.
Sorry, TurningJapanese, but this remains a mystery.
Where are you? US? UK? Japan? Where did you see this?
I saw the sticker on a car in Houston, TX.
Hmm, still crazy.
I just ran across this. I think it might point you in the right direction.
ETA, I did a google image search for “eyesore kid” (no quotes) and saw the image in the article and noticed the similar font. Then when you mentioned you where in Houston…
I’m glad this thread came back up. The Eyesore link at the beginning of the thread was bugging me since the logo wasn’t on their myspace page and they use a different font. But since everyone seemed in agreement I didn’t really give it too much more though.
Aha! The car was in the parking lot of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts!!
Thanks Joey P, I think you may have cracked the case!
Here’s his not entirely safe for work myspace page. If you click on the sticker section you’ll see lots more pictures similar to the one you saw, though I couldn’t find that exact one. Again, not totally SFW, but the thumbnails are small enough that the casually passer-by probably won’t notice anything…other then that you’re on a myspace page.
In one of the albums, there was a bearded man with the word EYESORE over his eyes like the child in the sticker I saw. That one sold me; I think you found it.
Thanks again!!
Aye, that’s him.
Here’s your sticker, in one of his photo albums.
By the way, he’s a damn good artist.
ETA: Good job, Joey P!
